Discover Čiovo
Slatine is a small fishing and tourist settlement located in the north-eastern part of Ćiovo, 8 km from Trogir. It is situated on the shores of the Kaštela Bay, opposite Split and the Marjan Peninsula, which are located to the east of it.
Ćiovo is known for its rich vegetation, numerous islands and islets, and rocky and pebble beaches. In the vicinity of Slatine, the coastline is punctuated by countless coves, hills, gravel, and rocky beaches. The pine forests provide pleasant shade during the summer heat, and their shade creates suitable conditions for relaxation and bathing for families with young children, as well as for those who value peace and quiet.
Buses run from Slatine to Trogir and Split all year round, providing a convenient connection to the mainland. An additional attraction during the summer season is the sea connection – boat cruises from Slatine to Split and Trogir (more at www.buraline.com)
